juspice.inpainting_module

Inpainting (filling in masked regions) for microscopy images.

Available methods:

• OpenCV Telea and Navier-Stokes

• scikit-image biharmonic

• Stable Diffusion XL inpainting from Hugging Face diffusers, which generates new content guided by a text prompt

• IOPaint (LaMa model by default) through the external iopaint command. IOPaint is installed in its own environment; see the JuSPICE installation guide.

InpaintingAccessor

Available as spice.inpaint; changes spice.data in place.

inpaint_image()

Returns the result as a new SPICEData.

ImageInpainter
