About JuSPICE¶
JuSPICE (Speedy Processing of Images in Computational Electrochemistry) is an open-source Python toolkit developed at Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Institute of Energy Technologies — Fundamental Electrochemistry (IET-1). It provides a modular, reproducible framework for scientific image loading, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, clustering, inpainting, and synthetic-data generation, with full pipeline history tracking.

Use of AI Tools¶
JuSPICE was conceived, developed, and implemented by the developers. AI-assisted tools were used only as supplementary aids for code review, bug detection, and refactoring. All algorithms, pipeline logic, and implementations were developed and critically evaluated by the developers, who also reviewed and corrected any AI-assisted suggestions. The developers retain full responsibility for the code and documentation.
