GRID Software

Note

After the re-installation with CentOS 8 not all GRID software tools are currently available.

For accessing data with GRID software, a bundle of client Globus, LCG, VOMS and dCache client programs is installed on JUDAC. This software focuses on data transfer with GRID tools to move data to or from the file systems in the JSC supercomputer facility.

Globus

The Global Toolkit has been retired and will not be offered anymore.

LCG and VOMS

The LCG and VOMS software are installed from the EPEL repository and include

gfal2

Please notice that lcg-info and lcg-util have been deprecated and replaced by the gfal2 utility tools. See
