Data Privacy
Every time a user accesses a page from this offer and every time a file is called up, data on this process is stored in a log file. This data is not personal data; we cannot trace which user has accessed which data. Personal user profiles can therefore not be created. The stored data is only evaluated for statistical purposes. In the event of such access, the data will not be passed on to third parties.
Categories of personal data processed by us during registration
When logging in, a user account is created which contains the following personal information: First name, last name, email address. This account is also linked to the records and other data structures in the repository that this user has created or has been assigned to.
Legal basis of the processing
The basis for our processing of data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The processing of your data is also based on this - within the framework of the weighing of interests - to protect legitimate interests of us or third parties, e.g. for the secure administration of user accounts.
Deletion or blocking of data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as required by the various storage periods provided for by law. Once the purpose, i.e. active use of the repository, has ceased, the relevant data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions. In the case of your registration data, these will be deleted immediately after you have logged out.
Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business purposes, deletion of your personal data. You can make changes or withdraw your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration from time to time so that it always meets current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when new services are introduced. The new data protection declaration then applies to your next visit.
